A Victorian needlework sampler, titled 'The Tree of Dissipation', by 'Susan Mercy Roake in the 13 Year of Her Age 184_', the verse in the form of a tree surrounded by animals, birds and plants, all within a passion flower border, worked with coloured threads in mainly cross stitch, approx 32cm x 31cm, later mounted and framed.
