An a.l.s. from James Weston addressed to the Duke of Newcastle, dated 'Lewes Aug 20 1767' (207 x 160mm.) the letter asking the recipient for employment, together with another fragment of a letter, a folding map titled 'A Sketch of the Roads within fourteen Miles of Tunbridge Wells', a miniature book and a newspaper.
