A Minton majolica asparagus server, circa 1878, modelled as a cradle of tied asparagus spears raised on green supports, the brown glazed rectangular base and green rim with floral medallions, cornered by stylized Greek key decoration, impressed factory mark and '1549' to base, length approx 25cm (restoration).
