LOT 900
A 1914-15 Star and 1914-19 Victory Medal to 'G-13046. Pte. E. Hadland, Middx. R.', a First World War period memorial plaque, detailed 'Ernest Hadland' (Private Ernest Hadland served with the 13th Battalion Middlesex Regiment, died 31st August 1916 and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial), a General Service Medal, Elizabeth II issue, with bar Malaya to '22823770 Pte. R.C. Hadland. A?? (this having attempted erasure of the naming), and a ribbon bar, together with three replacement Second World War awards, comprising 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star and War Medal, all unnamed, with named forwarding slip and compliments slip, dated '5/9/94', as awarded to 'J.H. Hadland L/JX217888 R.N.', with a box.
