An 18th Century and later walnut longcase clock with eight day brass four pillar movement striking on a bell, the square brass dial with silvered chapter ring framing a matt centre and silvered plaque inscribed 'John Payne, London', cornered with winged mask and scroll spandrels, the later case with moulded pediment and barley twist columns to hood, the rectangular trunk door flanked by inlaid rectangular side panels, on a similarly decorated base and bun feet, height approx 204cm, together with pendulum and two weights (alterations and restoration).
