LOT 897
A group of five medals, comprising 1939-45 Defence Medal, War Medal, 1953 Coronation Medal, these three unnamed as issued, Air Efficiency Award with further service bar to 'Sqn. Ldr. F.D. Wheeler. R.A.F.V.R.', and medal for Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary, George V coinage head issue, with bar 'Long Service 1953' to 'Sergt. Francis D. Wheeler', mounted on a bar as worn, a corresponding group of five dress miniature medals (the Air Efficiency Award without bar, the Special Constabulary medal George VI issue), mounted on a bar, and a St. John Ambulance Association medal with five further dated bars to '439243 Francis D. Wheeler'.
