A First World War period trench periscope with leather covered cylindrical body and brass eyepiece section, engraved 'C.N.H. From E. 1915' (lens dirty, some small screws missing), in its leather carrying case with leather sling, together with a copy of Lord Claud Nigel Hamilton's service history.
