A group of medals to Major R.B. Seed, Indian Army, comprising 1914-15 Star to '3579 Pte. R.B. Seed L'Pool R.', 1914-18 British War Medal and 1914-19 Victory Medal to 'Lieut R.B. Seed.', India General Service Medal, George V issue, with three bars, 'Waziristan 1919-21', 'Waziristan 1921-24' and 'Burma 1930/32', to 'Capt. R.B. Seed, 1-3 Madras Regt', India General Service Medal, George VI issue, with two bars, 'North West Frontier 1936-37' and 'North West Frontier 1937-39', to 'Major R.B. Seed, 1-17 Dogra R.', 1939-45 War Medal and Indian Forces War Medal, the corresponding eight dress miniature medals, George VI IGSM with only one bar, 'North West Frontier 1936-37', and 1939-45 War Medal with MID spray, all mounted court style, together with spare ribbons, a Government of India War Department letter confirming the additional NWF 1937-39 bar to the IGSM, an Indian Forces forwarding slip confirming the three Second World War period awards, and a typed note, detailed 'Truck Timings'. Note also: Lot 833, George V 1897 pattern Indian Army officer's sword by Wilkinson, the blade etched 'R.B. Seed'.
