A late 19th Century French slate mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the two piece dial with applied gilt Roman numerals and Brocot escapement, the case with arched surmount above inset rouge marble panels and gilding, on a plinth base, height approx 45.5cm, with pendulum and winding key.
