A mid-19th Century gilt metal mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the back plate stamped with 'Japy Frères' maker's mark, the circular enamel dial with blue Roman hours and Arabic minutes, the case with two dove surmount above applied musical instruments and classical helmet on a bow front base and disc feet, height approx 27cm (re-gilded), with a pendulum and keys.
