A George VI naval officer's sword with straight single edged blade, length approx 80cm, etched with crowned cypher, fouled anchor and foliate and rope decoration, gilded brass hilt with folding guard, engraved 'J.B. Pym', wire bound fishskin covered grip with dress knot, in its matching gilt brass mounted leather scabbard, together with a later sword belt.
