A George III mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'R.V French, Maidstone', all cornered by gilt flowers beneath a bowl of fruit to arch, the hood with moulded arch pediment above a glazed door flanked by fluted columns, the trunk with arched door on a panelled base and plinth, height approx 216cm, with pendulum and two weights (faults).
