A 1912 type cavalry officer's sword with single edged blade, length approx 89cm, bearing spurious proof mark and crudely etched with foliate scrolls and GRV cypher, plated bowl guard (plating defective), wire bound leather covered grip, in its poor quality leather covered field service scabbard (probably of Indian manufacture).
