LOT 856
A large Union Flag of stitched construction, approx 110cm x 60cm (some damage), together with an oak shield, marked 'H.M.S. Lizard', with applied composition lizard (tail broken), approx 38cm x 30cm. Note: the above items were in the officer's mess when H.M.S. Lizard was in Grand Avenue, Hove, and were the last two items when the depot was closed after the Second World War. Included with the lot is a souvenir booklet commemorating the opening of Lumley House 25th July 1952.
