LOT 1045
A late 19th Century French gilt spelter and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the back plate with 'AD Mougin' maker's mark, the porcelain dial with black Roman numerals above a painted scene of a courting couple within cream and gilt borders, the case with similarly decorated porcelain urn surmount above two putti and a pair of pillars painted with landscape vignettes, the base with stiff leaf border and further inset porcelain panel, on fluted feet, height approx 48.5cm, with pendulum, winding key and giltwood stand (minor faults).
