LOT 1090
A mid-19th Century French ormolu and Sèvres style porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the circular enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, the case with flower charged urn surmount, the porcelain body painted with musical instruments and flowers within gilt frames on a blue ground, above ribbon tied flower festoons, flanked by a pair of seated putti, one holding a laurel branch, the other a caduceus, flanking a moulded cartouche containing a porcelain panel painted with a head and shoulders portrait of a gentleman, the breakfront base inset with three panels painted with cherubs, on turned feet, height approx 49cm, with pendulum.
