LOT 1080
A late 19th Century French ormolu and Sèvres style porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the back plate with 'Japy Freres' maker's stamp, the porcelain dial with black Roman numerals within blue and gilt borders with jewelled detail framing a centre painted with flowers, butterflies and quiver, the case with flower and fruit filled urn surmount above foliate scrolls and pineapple finials, the front with inset porcelain panels painted with figural scenes and flowers, flanked by four Corinthian columns, on a rectangular base and turned feet, height approx 40.5cm, with pendulum, winding key, giltwood stand, glass dome and ebonized base.
