A Japanese wakizashi with slightly curved single edged blade, length approx 52.5cm, tang with three mounting holes and signed to one side, iron tsuba decorated with birds etc, cord bound fishskin covered grip with menuki, in a Second World War period leather covered wooden scabbard.
