A Victorian walnut and brass bound writing slope, the hinged lid with an inset brass cartouche with presentation inscription to 'Troop Segt. Major Wm. Williamson 11th (P.A.O.) Hussars on his retirement from the Regt. in March 1866...', together with an invitation to a banquet on October 25th 1875 in commemoration of the Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaklava (faults).
