                A late 19th Century Egyptianesque gilt bronze and porcelain clock garniture, the clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the porcelain dial with black Roman numerals on a matt terracotta ground decorated with polychrome hieroglyphics, repeated on the side panels, the case surmounted with an Egyptian pharaoh standing in a scallop shell with two crocodiles on chains, flanked by a pair of foliate columns with sphinx terminals, the breakfront base centred with an eagle, height approx 34cm, flanked by a pair of matching urns and covers (lacking pendulum, later gilded and some faults).
