A Clyde Pottery Company purple printed and coloured earthenware commemorative royal jug and bowl, circa 1863, commemorating the wedding of Prince Edward and Princess Alexandra, one side of the jug printed with an equestrian portrait of 'Prince of Wales', the other side a bust portrait of 'Princess Alexandra', height approx 21.5cm, the bowl interior with the equestrian portrait of 'Prince of Wales', diameter approx 24.5cm, printed factory mark to base.
