An Italian maiolica albarello, late 17th Century, probably Burgio, Sicily, of waisted form, outlined in manganese and painted in blue, yellow and green with an oval cartouche containing a standing angel, reserved against a green ground filled with yellow scrolling foliage, within guilloche pattern bands to foot and shoulder, height approx 24.5cm (chip to rim and footrim and hairlines).
