LOT 1170
A George III oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the silvered break arch dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, cornered with engraved depictions of a gentleman representing the four seasons, and inscribed 'Edward Hopkins, Bradford', beneath a rolling moon to the arch inscribed 'The Moon Age', the later foliate carved case with moulded pediment above a glazed door and bracket feet, height approx 221cm, with pendulum, winder and two weights (faults).
