A 19th Century Tongan hardwood war club (apa'apai), the diamond shaped head, carved with geometric panels and with slightly concave tip, tapering to the round section haft, the hexagonal pommel decorated with chequered panel terminal, length approx 79cm (some chips and fine cracks).
