LOT 1017
A late 19th Century French rosewood carriage style mantel clock, the eight day movement with silk suspension striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped with 'Marti' maker's mark and inscribed 'Leroy a Paris', the similarly inscribed circular enamel dial with blue Roman numerals, the rectangular case with boxwood inlaid foliate scrolls beneath a brass carrying handle, height approx 23cm, with pendulum and winding key.
