A small collection of fifteen Victorian microscope specimen slides, mostly botanical and biological, including 'Compound eye of butterfly', 'Butterfly's wing', 'Quadrant sec. clematis', 'Furze' and 'Tongue of rabbit', all with paper retailers labels, including C.M Topping, Jh Bourgogne and Hunter & Sands, together with twelve smaller specimen slides with turquoise paper covers, various microscope eyepieces and a lacquered brass compass.
