HEBBORN, Eric. Ṥ?a Nagba Imuru, A Version of The Epic of Gilgamesh. London: Girasole Editions, 1999. Limited edition of 60 copies, this copy number 54 of 40, 4to (277 x 204mm.) Numerous illustrations by Hebborn. Original half-calf (extremities lightly scuffed, spine slightly faded). - And two other limited edition volumes by Hebborn. Note: Eric Hebborn (1934-1996) was an art forger producing hundreds of works in the style of artists, including Corot, Mantegna, Piranesi, Rubens and Van Dyck which sold successfully at auction (3).
