KING, [William.] The Art of Love: In Imitation of Ovid De Arte Amandi. London: printed for Bernard Lintott, [n.d. but circa 1708.] 8vo (193 x 115mm.) Engraved frontispiece. (Light browning, occasional minor spotting or soiling.) Contemporary speckled-calf (extremities bumped and scuffed, joints split). Provenance: Thomas Franklin (inscription dated 1787); Bernard Lintott (presentation inscription dated 1898 and bookplate to front pastedown). - And twenty-three other volumes, the majority leather bound (24).
