LOT 1080
A late 19th Century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the circular porcelain dial with black Roman numerals framing Cupid's bow and quiver, the case with urn surmount flanked by a pair of putto, above a series of three porcelain panels, painted with classical maidens and Cupid, within cast foliate borders, on a breakfront base, the front applied with an oval cartouche containing a porcelain panel painted with Cupid, on six foliate topped tapering feet, height approx 48cm, with pendulum, winding key and giltwood stand (minor faults).
