Bill Jacklin - Study of the Bristol Docks, watercolour over pencil, indistinctly inscribed. Note: the vendor recalls that the finished work was entered for a competition organised by the Arnolfini and was runner-up to a work by Patrick Caulfield; presumably this was a study for Jacklin's design for the mural at the Bristol offices of London Life.
