A pair of 20 bore flintlock officer's pistols by Jeffery Lymington with octagonal barrels, length approx 18.5cm, signed stepped bolted locks, engraved with sunburst around the water resisting pans, rollers to frizzen springs, full stocked with chequered butts with vacant silver escutcheons and engraved steel furniture (some rust staining), contained in an associated green baize lined mahogany case with 18 bore pincer mould, wad punch, copper powder flask, turnscrew, cleaning rod etc, together with a handwritten note 'These pistols were the property of Capt Stride who owned a property in the Isle of Wight'.
