A group of medals relating to the Fountain family, comprising 1914-18 British War Medal and 1914-19 Victory Medal to '11992 Pte. R.L. Fountain. H.A.C.-Inf.'-, 1939-45 Defence Medal and Association of Professional Fire Brigade Officers Long Service Medal, silver, to 'Chief Officer R.L. Fountain. 1939', mounted on a bar, National Fire Brigades Association Long Service Medal, silver, with bar 'Twenty Years' to ''6009 Reginald L. Fountain', with spare ribbons, two ribbon bars and case of issue, and 1939-45 Defence Medal with forwarding slip and box of postage, addressed to Mrs E.G. Fountain, five badges relating to the Fire Service and the Red Cross, a brass badge, detailed 'On War Service 1915', a quantity of mostly Fire Services buttons, including Hampshire Fire Service, an 'HAC' cap badge (lacking back fitting) and two 'HAC' brass titles.
