ROSSER, W.H. The Yachtsman's Handy Book for Sea Use, and Adapted for the Board of Trade Yachting Certificate. London: Charles Wilson, 1877. First edition, 8vo (214 x 134mm.) Folding map frontispiece, 3 plates (1 colour), 16pp. advertisements at rear. (Light browning, occasional light spotting.) Original cloth blocked in black and gilt (extremities bumped and scuffed, soiled). Provenance: F.J.B. Beckford (armorial bookplate to front pastedown).- And two other later editions of 'The Yachtsman's Handy Book'. Provenance: The Michael Gilkes Collection (3).
