LOT 3076
A mid-19th Century carpet section, designed by A.W.N. Pugin for the Houses of Parliament, the central yellow field with overall stylized rosettes within a red repeating cruciform border, approx 200cm x 108cm (cut and joined from a larger carpet). Note: the border design of this fragment can be viewed on the V&A collection website, museum number D.808-1908, where it states that it was 'identified by Crace as being for the Houses of Parliament'.
