A late 19th Century French brass cased lantern style mantel clock with eight day movement chiming on a bell, the back plate numbered '85929', the silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals framing a foliate scroll engraved centre, the case of typical form with bell surmount, on turned feet, height approx 24.5cm, with a key (minute hand detached but present).
