An early 19th Century French Empire ormolu and bronze mantel timepiece with eight day movement, the circular dial with black Roman numerals, the rectangular case surmounted with trophies of war, flanked by a brown patinated bronze standing centurion, on a rectangular base cast with further trophies of war, on a rectangular plinth and foliate feet, height approx 27cm, with winding key (lacking pendulum), together with a rosewood rectangular stand with boxwood floral inlaid decoration and bun feet.
