A German salt glazed brown stoneware stein, circa 1875, relief moulded with a titled panel depicting King Gambrinus, flanked by two figures with jugs of wine, each within fruiting vine framing, the underside of the pewter tappit lid impressed 'Gutermann Biberach', height approx 13cm.
