An early 20th Century Swiss automation strut timepiece with thirty hour movement, the rectangular brass easel style frame enclosing a painted idyllic Alpine scene of figures outside a building and clock tower incorporating the dial, above an automation of cupid working arrows at an anvil, the reverse inscribed 'Idylle Au Village, Fab Suisse', height approx 10.6cm.
