A Second World War period Japanese katana with curved single edged blade, length approx 66.5cm, tang signed and struck with armoury mark, feint wavy yakiba (areas of abrasion and edge nicks), brass tsuba, tape bound sharkskin covered grip with chrysanthemum menuki, in its black lacquered wooden scabbard, covered in leather, with suspension ring.
