A collection of photographs, copies of photographs and other memorabilia relating to 617 Squadron, including a framed miniature medal group with full-size ribbon bar to Acting Wing Commander Guy Penrose Gibson VC, DSO and bar, DFC and bar, RAFRO Officer Commanding 617 Squadron 'The Dam Busters' with small portrait image, two photographs of Guy Gibson with members of the crew, a photograph of Guy Gibson with HM King George VI with Barnes Wallis in the background, and further related items, including fragments from '617 Sqn Lancaster BIII ED910 AJ-C 17 May 1943' and a framed 617 Squadron display, together with a collection of eighty signed first day covers, contained within a loose leaf album.
