A collection of approximately 100 postcards, the majority topographical views of China, Peking, Canton, Hong Kong, Ceylon, Penang and Malay, including printed postcards titled 'Chinese marriage procession', 'Chinese funeral procession', 'Chinese Bazar', 'Canton Matting Factory', 'Hong Kong Peak Tramway Station', 'Peking, V.W. Legation Guard Quarter', 'Lan-schou', 'Tientsin, Yamen', 'Schan-hai-kwan', 'Tsinanfu, Shantung', 'Malay Festivals Kedah' and 'Makan nassi Penang', all postally used with Chinese stamps and postmarks, including Tientsin, Peking, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Note: all postcards sent by the same hand to Madamoiselle Antoinette Bouvet.
