An early 20th century Arts and Crafts pewter and stained beech pocket watch display case, the hinged lid above four flared corner supports, the front inset with four moonstone cabochons, the sides worked with the mottos 'All time is no time when time is past' and 'Make time save time while time lasts', the rear panel inscribed 'Ave atque vale!', dated '22.11.1921' and bearing two sets of monograms, 'EAJW' and 'WSR', height 12cm, width 13cm.
