24th March 2017
An Edgar Kettle Fulham Pottery stoneware tri-lobed stand, circa 1875, incised with a stork holding a snake in its beak, standing above foliate scrolls and two frogs, decorated in a blue and brown glaze, incised 'EK' monogram and rebus to base, length 21.8cm (minor rim chips). Note: although this stand is only marked with the personal artist's monogram of Edgar Kettle, it is likely that it was made for C.J.C. Bailey Fulham Pottery.
