A mid-18th century and later oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with matt centre, silvered subsidiary seconds and date aperture, framed by a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and Arabic minutes and inscribed 'Samuel Austin, Rumsey', beneath a silvered boss with engraved dove to the arch, the later oak case with moulded arch pediment and three brass finials above a glazed door and fluted columns, the trunk with arched door on a plain base and bracket feet, height 216cm, with pendulum, two weights and winding key (alterations).
