A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted square dial with 'Halifax Moon' below 12 o'clock, black Roman numerals, subsidiary date dial and inscribed 'G. Esplin, Wigan', the hood with swan neck pediment above a pair of turned columns and glazed door, the trunk door with shaped top, on a panelled base and bracket feet, height 220cm, with pendulum, two weights and winder.
