Large 4to (346 x 251mm.) 19 uncoloured plates (15 double-page). (Light browning, occasional minor soiling, plate XIII torn along central fold and repaired with tape without loss, minor marginal tears with loss to plate XIX.) Modern cloth (extremities lightly bumped, endpapers replaced). Provenance: from the estate of the late Michael Gilkes FRCS, FRCOphth., FRGS.
