LOT 1075
A late 19th century French lacquered brass grande sonnerie carriage alarm clock with eight day movement striking and repeating on two gongs, the backplate numbered '6759', the white enamel circular dial with black Roman numerals and indistinctly inscribed above subsidiary alarm dial with Arabic numerals, within an engine turned gilt brass surround, the gorge case with glazed top and sides beneath a swing handle, the underside with lever selection, height 17.7cm (missing handle to back door).
