An Ashworth Bros 'Real Ironstone China' oval tureen and cover, late 19th century, decorated in the Imari palette with floral filled roundels and gilt foliate scrolls, length 30cm, and four matching plates, diameter 24cm, printed and impressed factory marks to bases, together with two monochrome printed plates, each depicting a classical scene, one titled 'Daphnis et Chloe se Baignent dans la Grotte', diameter 21.5cm, the other 'Telemaque embrasse Nestor et sa presence delermine la Paix 8', diameter 20.3cm (minor faults).
