A Meissen porcelain clock case, mid/late 19th century, the circular enamel dial with black Roman numerals, modelled as a putto reading a book, resting on a draped drum case surmounted by devices emblematic of the arts, on a rectangular base supported by bun feet, picked out in underglaze blue and gilt, crossed swords in underglaze blue to base, height 24cm (minor faults and repairs), with pendulum and winding key.
