A French An XI model cuirassier's sword with straight single edged blade with double fullers, length 95cm, engraved 'Klingenthal September 1813', brass triple bar hilt, stamped '222', wire bound leather covered grip (hilt detached at pommel), in its steel scabbard, stamped '147'. Provenance: from the estate of the late Alistair Morris.
